I have to confess that I do not have TV…no cable, no antenna…no TV.  What I do watch is on my PC through something called “streaming” that I have no understanding of and am just glad it is there and available for me.

I’m a news junky so I get my news from CNN, the Huffington Post, and the NY Times.  I also like Reuters because I get a different perspective from outside our wonderful country.  The views of this campaign year events will tell you that the USA has suffered a significant drop in status.

In keeping with my passion for news I’m following the Olympics.  I’m also following the @NBCdelayed  tweets on Twitter.  Some of them are really funny and most of them are inventive to say the least (in 140 characters or less).

IMHO NBC made a bad decision when they opted to delay television broadcast of the Olympics for showing during Prime Time.  I think they’ve lost a lot of fans because they have the corner on the market and aren’t providing LIVE coverage of the Games. I think they may be having second thoughts, but they delayed too long before they started thinking.  This is the first Olympic Summer Games that I haven’t watched on television; but I know I’d be a very unhappy camper if I learned the outcome before I got to watch the competition.

What’s your opinion?  Let me know in the comments.
